Faculty Cricket Club

The Faculty Cricket Club is an initiative of the Faculty Association that brings together faculty members who enjoy cricket, fitness, and camaraderie. Whether you are an experienced player or simply looking to stay active, the club offers a welcoming environment to play, train, and connect with colleagues.

  • Regular cricket and fitness sessions (typically twice a week) at the beautiful Chemplast Cricket Ground on the IIT Madras campus.
  • Coaching sessions led by a cricket coach, subject to availability and participant interest.
  • Special events and expert talks featuring invited speakers from the cricketing community, open to the wider IIT Madras campus.

Membership

The club is open to all members of the Faculty Association.

Joining this club is free. However, for certain activities, such as fitness sessions conducted by expert coaches, special training sessions, etc we request a voluntary monthly membership contribution, which is separate from FA membership fee. Together with support from the Faculty Association, these contributions help organize club activities and purchase essential equipment.
